Using non GMO seed is not a backward idea or against sciences and technologies. It is healthy and history has proven that no other option except organic food. Biotech engineering and genetic engineering are beneficial for other applications but they are not for food.
How GMO and GEO Seed is Developed?
GMO stands for Genetically Modified Organism where the term is apply for plants, animals and microorganisms. Another term which is closely related to GMO is GEO or Genetically Engineered Organism (GEO). GEO term applies for bacteria, fungi, yeast and other microorganisms.
Both GMO and GEO refer to an organism whose genetic material has been transformed using genetic engineering methods. The organism is altered using molecular genetics techniques such as gene cloning and protein engineering. These methods are generally identified as recombinant DNA technology.
The microorganism is not natural anymore where most of the previous results show negative impact to human, animal and nature. Genetic cloning, gene cloning or DNA cloning are same methods with different names. How they do it is firstly by combining DNA molecules (non-native genes) from a number of sources into a molecule creating new set of genes. This newly combined DNA is then transferred into an organism, which is a newly modified organism.
Non GMO Seed for Our Home Garden
There are a lot of works to do before establish a good organic commercial land. Commercial organic planters have to improve land which might be destroyed by GMO planters previously. Then they have to slowly ensure the land is healthy. The land is also large than our home garden. Additional cost of transportation, workers, distributions and retail stores make the organic food more expensive. Another reason is that agro chemicals and GMO are designed to make food cheaper to produce. They are not developed with nutrition, taste or the ecology in mind. The chemical designers’ concern was to make mass production of food cheaper.
However, if you grow yourselves the cost is almost negligible. You can use your land around your home to grow organic food. Develop it as a small home garden and it’s not expensive just need time and effort. Even better idea is to form a local community garden or community gardens for every home and share organic fruit and vegetables. It’s a good idea and friendly idea to form closer neighbourhood and barter the fruits and vegetables.
However you could visit this website for other good information because they have large guides for growing, from vegetables, legumes, grains, herbs and sprouts. They also produce excellent guides for natural pest control. Thus we don’t need anymore to use poisonous chemical such as herbicides and pesticides. Those guides are excellent for newly or experience gardeners.
You could check the website at Organic Seeds. Readers who interested in promoting their seeds could check this link, Organic Seeds. Now we can see that having organic food is inexpensive and everybody can eat organic and live healthily.
Eat Organic No More Panic! Thanks for reading.

The reasons for there not being labels on gmo foods, and by-products, is simply because of the swinging door between agricultural biotech companies like Monsanto and the U.S. government. The world-wide deregulation of gmo labeling requirements would also open up free trade of these genetically engineered and modified foods particularly to the European countries which currently do not even allow rBGH in their milk.
An excellently written piece!
